SHADOW LAKE

With views of the Indian Head Profile and the Franconia Ridge mountain range, our private Shadow Lake is the perfect spot to spend the day fishing, pedal boating or just enjoying the outdoors.

Use of Shadow Lake is free and for registered resort guests only.

Fishing

Shadow Lake is freshly stocked with trout every summer.

We sell fishing poles and bait in our Gift Shop, or you are welcome to bring your own equipment.

Important Information:

If you plan on keeping your catch, there is a three (3) fish per day maximum
Otherwise, we ask our guests to and catch and release
Barbless hooks are available for free in the Gift Shop
We do not sell live bait
Guest wristbands are required to purchase any fishing equipment in the Gift Shop

Catch a Winner!

Catch a tagged fish and you could win $25, $15, or $5 cash!

To redeem your prize, please bring the tag only (not the fish) to the front desk.

If you catch a tagged fish and do not plan to keep it, please release it back into the lake.

We offer free barbless hooks in the Gift Shop.

Pedal Boating

Pedal boats are free to use for all guests and are first come first serve.

Life jackets and adult supervision are required.

Wildlife

We are lucky to be surrounded by a variety of native New Hampshire wildlife.

With this in mind, we ask our guests to be mindful of leaving trash, fishing lines, hooks and other remnants behind that could potentially harm one of the animals.
