To help you appreciate our facilities more fully, we have developed the following Frequently Asked Questions for your convenience.
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the resort, bungalows or cottages.
Please note: If the on- line reservation service is showing no availability on the date you want, please contact us! If you have problems making your on-line reservation, or wish to double check last minute availability, please call our toll-free number 1-800-343-8000.
Also Cottage and Bungalow reservations cannot be made on line, you must call in on our toll-free number 1-800-343-8000.
Directions: Just take Exit 33 (North or South) off Interstate 93 – follow the signage to the Indian Head Rock Profile and Indian Head Resort – this puts you on Route 3 – Our Resort is located 1.5 miles north on Route 3 – you literally can’t miss us! For specific directions from your location, try Mapquest (or a similar web service) or e-mail the web guy and he will do his best to help you. If you can find New Hampshire, you can find Indian Head Resort!
Check-in Time is 4 PM. If you are not completely satisfied with your room or cottage, please inform the front desk immediately. To ensure that our facilities are used only by our valued guests, please display the parking permit you were issued on the dashboard of your vehicle.
Check-Out Time is 11 AM. Guests remaining after check-out will be charged for an additional day.
Wireless is available in all rooms and most areas of the main building. The Cottages and Bungalows do not have wireless access.

Our popular M.A.P package offers choice of menu Breakfasts and Dinners (with special menus for children Age 3 – 12), along with our great lodging and a full compliment of outstanding resort facilities, providing Indian Head Resort’s guests with an inclusive vacation package at an unbeatable price! Here’s how the M.A.P. PACKAGE works: For each night of your stay you receive: Choice of Menu Breakfast, and Choice of Menu Dinner. MAP Meal Plan Bill of Fare (per day): Age 3 – 12… FREE ( 1 per adult on MAP Plan), Age 13 – Adult… add $30.00. Breakfast & Dinner off Kid’s Menu (with adult on MAP Plan) * = Breakfast & Dinner off Adult Menus when you choose the M.A.P. Package, all adults and all children 3 and older in your party must be included.
What Does Choice of Menu Mean? Breakfast: adults can choose any one item off the Club Breakfasts, a la carte suggestions, or omelet section of the menu. M.A.P. Breakfasts for adults always include juice, beverage and bacon or sausage. There will be an additional charge for any extra side order, beverages or hot breads & pastries ordered. Children 12 and under can order any item off the For the Kids section of the breakfast menu (no substitutions), which includes juice, milk or chocolate milk. Dinner: adults can choose one Appetizer*, one Entree and one Dessert off our regular dinner menu. M.A.P. Dinners always include choice of one regular non-bar beverage. There may be an additional charge for some seasonal dinner specials not on our regular menu. Children age 3 – 12 can choose any ONE item off Indian Head Resort’s special Kid’s Dinner Menu (small regular beverage included). * Note many M.A.P. Plans DO NOT include an Appetizer, but we figure that nothing’s too good for our guests! Should you have any questions, please e-mail us!
Lounge Opens: 4:00 PM Sun. – Fri., 12:00 PM Sat. & Sun. Entertainment Begins at 8:00 PM *Please note: Lounge times subject to seasonal change ~ Please call the front desk for accurate times.
No license is needed, however fishing is for registered Indian Head guests only. If you want to take advantage of the free fishing, please stop by the front desk for a fishing nametag. Please wear this nametag when fishing to identify you as a valid Indian Head guest.
Limit – 3 Fish Per Room, Per Day. If you are not going to eat the fish you catch, please release them back to the lake while they are still alive. We will clean, wrap and freeze your fish so you can take it home. The cost is $1.00 per fish. If you would like to eat your fish for dinner we will serve it to you with your choice of potato and vegetable for only $6.95, tax, gratuity & $1.00 cleaning charge not included. *Limit and pricing subject to change. *

*Please note: No Lifeguard on duty. Parents are responsible for their children in and around Pools, Spas and Shadow Lake. Children under 12 not allowed in Spa without an adult. No swimming in lake. Paddle boats & dock close at dusk. Life preservers are required. Management not responsible for bathing suits.
